How many test Matter devices can be registered on Google Home?

I am testing Google Nest Hub 2nd Gen and Wi-Fi only Matter device using TEST VID 0xFFF1 and PID 0x8001. When the first device has been registered, then registering the second device will replace the first device. At this time, Google Home will only have a second Matter device. Is that normally? How many test Matter devices can be registered on Google Home? Thanks in advance.

Hello @Ed302009 ,

For testing your devices you can make use of one of the following TEST VIDs ( 0xFFF1, 0xFFF2, 0xFFF3 and 0xFFF4 ) along with one of the following 32 available PIDs ranging from 0x8000 to 0x801F . In total, 128 different test Matter Devices with appropriate combination of VID and PID from the available ones can be created. More information in this regard can be found here (the blue banner).

I am too having the same problem as the original post. Is there a way to have multiple devices connected with the same test VID/PID?
