Hello!

2 white lights on your Google Nest Mini is the indication that your device is starting up. If it's stuck on the two white lights, then try rebooting your device or turning the microphone off and on.

Hi All,

First, thank you KatiaB for your help on this thread!

Hello Bugpy, thank you for reaching out. I appreciate you taking the time to try some troubleshooting steps.

Could you please try one more troubleshooting step?

  1. At the side of the Google Nest Mini, unplug the power cord and wait 10 seconds, then plug it back in and wait until the four LED lights light up on top.
  2. Repeat step one, 10 more times. (complete total of 11 times)
  3. After plugging in the power cord back in the final time, wait a few moments for the device to reset. It will announce "Welcome to Google Home" to signify that it's ready for setup.

Please let me know if this helps resolve the issue or not. I look forward to your response.

Hello! Sorry for the late reply, but I think you should create your own thread on this topic so that more people can see it.

Happens to me a lot, and every time it happens I forget what to do and then again I find your advice and it’s the only thing that works! Best advice ever 👍🏼

So, I have the same problem. Tried unplugging it and plugging it back in about 30 times and still just the two lights light up when I plug it back in. I have one in every room of my house and have had them for about 4 years now. I would say I'm pretty tech savvy so I don't think it's user error.

I've got the exact same issue, must've recently happened

did you leave it unpluggeed for 10 seconds before plugging it back in?

I only had to do it once.  But I did have two wait seconds before plugging back in.  I guess.

I noticed when I started to unplug mine that the lights went to 4 so if u plug it in and get two lights, slightly and slowly start unplugging it till the 4 light show and it should work as before without having to setup again, I think it's a power issue or something.
