Hi I have a nest audio and the lights 2 of them are continuing to stay on and can't search device. I have tried re setti g and tried turning oomff and on woth nothing being a success. Any help before I through it out

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community.
This is not the experience that we wanted you to have, let me help you out. A few things: what is the make of the light that we are working with? Are you able to control the lights using its native app? How about using the Google Home app? Was this linked before or this is the first time that you linked it to your Google Home app?
You can do a sequential reboot. First, unplug your Nest hub and lights for 30 seconds, then do the same thing to your Wi-Fi router to refresh all devices and your Wi-Fi signal.
