Sleep sensing will not work with Language choice New Zealand, needed to switch to USA English for app to recognize AU/NZ Nest Hub 2. Can I now switch to New Zealand English and still get sensing to work.

Thank you for your message. I am sorry to hear that your sleep sensing option does not work with the English NZ language setting. That is a frustrating issue and I understand your concern. I would be more than happy to help find a solution. First, I have some quick questions.

  • Which country are you currently living in? New Zealand?
  • Could you please try to do a reboot and Factory Data Reset on your Google Nest Hub? Are there any improvements? 
    • A factory reset will reset your Google Nest or Home speaker or display to its default factory settings. 
    • Note: This action will clear your data from the device and can't be undone.
