Alarm is silent on one day

Ashlyn
Community Member

My alarm is set to go off every day at 8am and it works, except on Sundays. The speaker lights come on but it makes no sound. If I have a do not disturb mode on somewhere I cannot find it in Home, phone or Google assistant settings.

Hey Ashlyn,

I am sorry for the late reply. I know having your alarm not go off is not an ideal situation. I did find an article with more details. Please let me know if that helps, or if you have any questions from here.

Best regards,

Jake

Hey Ashlyn,

I appreciate your response. To confirm, have you tried removing and re-adding the alarm for Sunday? Below are the steps to check "Do not Disturbed" settings on the Google Home app:

  1. Open the Google Home app.
  2. Tap the Google Nest or Google Home device.
  3. At the top right, tap Settings > Notifications and digital wellbeing > Do not disturb.
  4. Turn Do not disturb on or off by sliding the slider.

Looking forward to your response.

Cheers,

Muddi

I have not solved the problem and the article was very generic, I did not find any helpful information there. I'm surprised I'm the only one with this problem☹️
