Ambient EQ does not stay on AUTO

Every morning the ambient EQ needs turning back on to auto.

I've gone into the setting and done all the stuff stated in other posts, but it doesn't work.

Thanks for reaching out. I know how it feels when something isn’t working as it should. A few questions: what Google Nest display are we working with? When did it begin? Were there any recent changes? Could you tell us the steps you have taken so far?

Hey Juni, I can’t put a time on when it started, seems like forever. I’ve been into the display settings and I’ve set the display to light, dark and auto. You name it, I’ve tried it. Altered the Dark, dim, bright and brighter. Tried various settings with the auto-brightness offset. Tried colour matching to always ambient and never. On the display itself I’ve flicked up to get the brightness control and tapped the sun icon so there is an ‘A’ in it and it works all that day…. Next morning…. It’s gone and I’ve got to do it again..!!

Hi there,

 

Thanks for the details you’ve shared. Try the factory reset; this erases all your personalized settings and restores the factory default settings. It won’t automatically reconnect to WI-Fi, and you’ll need to set it up again. Check out the article below to know more about it.

Tried this and it didn’t work, the ambient EQ still keeps turning off.
