How do I remove a personal routine called “Bedtime” from the list.. as I am trying to re create it in Household routine ( needs to have ‘Bedtime’ as the starter)
No delete options for old personal routine.

The bedtime routine is built in so can't be removed. However in my case, as the main account holder, I find that anyone in the house can use my personal bedtime routine via any of the nest speakers I have scattered around. This even holds true if they have their own bedtime routine and the speakers fail to recognize their voice.

Hi everyone,
Thanks for posting here in the community!
@Loony, I'm sorry to hear you're unable to delete the "Bedtime" routine. I'd be happy to help! To better assist you, what kind of Nest speaker or display do you have?
In the meantime, make sure both the Google Home app and your device's software are up-to-date. You should also be signed in to the same Google account on both the app and your Nest device.
Here's how to delete a routine:
For creating household routines, you can check out this article: Set up and manage routines.
I also appreciate you chiming in, @GBD. Thanks for mentioning the voice recognition situation! I can understand how frustrating that can be. Could you share more details about what's happening?
Please keep me posted.
Best regards,
Jenniffer

I don't find the voice recognition situation frustrating excepting the fact that quite often assistant doesn't recognize the voice. This said I would still rather it err on the side of not recognizing a voice than recognizing the wrong voice.
What I find is that for the built in routines when my wife is up later than me, uses the bedtime routine and assistant doesn't recognize her voice, it automatically uses my personal routine. Because of this, I had to remove turning on of my bedside lamp from my routine so that it didn't come on if I was sleeping.
What would be nice is if there was a default household routine for the built in routines. That way if a voice isn't recognized, the default is used instead of my personal one and if it is recognized, the individual personal one is used.

Hi Jennifer, we have multiple devices. A few nest mini 2nd gen a full size nest speaker 2nd gen and a couple of nest hubs 1st gen over the house and depending on where you are in the house anyone of them could be the one responding.
I might not have made myself clear but voice matching does work for my wife but occasionally when assistant doesn't match her voice it then defaults to using my bedtime routine. It would be the same if someone not attached to our home told the assistant bedtime.
I will however check her assistant in the morning to see if her voice match is enabled on all of them. If it's not enabled on one of them maybe that's the source of her voice sometimes not matching.

Hi @GBD,
Thanks for the information. I apologize for the delay and the inconvenience with your wife's voice not being recognized on your Nest devices.
Have you had a chance to check the Voice Match settings for your wife on all your Nest devices? If the situation persists after enabling Voice Match, consider re-teaching your voices by resetting the Voice Match data and retraining both accounts.
Please keep me posted.
Best regards,
Jenniffer

I did find one speaker that she didn't have voice enabled on and it's one of about 5 different devices that could pick up her voice while walking along. I'm pretty sure that this was the issue but I'll have to monitor for a week or so to make sure.

Hi @GBD,
Thanks for letting me know. I hope checking the Voice Match settings on this speaker can fix the situation with the Nest devices recognizing your wife's voice.
If you have any more questions, please let me know. I'd be happy to continue assisting you.
Best regards,
Jenniffer
