I have an idea to add to the nest mini. Some people don't have bookmarks or just can't find one, so what if you said "hey google, I'm on page 127 of the lord of the Rings book 5" Then your nest mini would already know the date so when you start reading the book again you say "hey google, what page am I on in the lord of the rings book 5" Then your nest mini will find the most recent date you last said the page you were on and it said "Your most recent page is page 127", then you'll never have to fold the corner of a page again or get a bookmark.
