I recently bought Google Nest Hub 2nd gen, unfortunately I found out that it has very limited support with Google Doorbell. On my cellphone I'm getting notifications for person/package/motion/sound etc. but on the Hub I can just get notifications if someone ring the doorbell.
I would love to have it pop up the live display upon detection of any motion ..etc.
Is there any fixing for this bug?
thanks

Hey liort,
Thanks for reaching out, and apologies for the delayed response.
For now, notifications for motion detection on the Nest camera are not supported on the Google Nest Hub. The only time that you'll get notified is when someone rings the doorbell. We're always looking for ways to improve, and we'll take this as feedback and pass it along to the team. I also suggest that you send feedback using your devices by saying, "Hey Google, send feedback" or by following the steps on this link.
Let us know if you have additional questions, and the community will be happy to help.
Cheers,
Muddi

I have a similar question, but just the opposite. When the doorbell rings I get notification on my Hub, but not on my cellphone. So if I'm not home and someone is at the door, I don't know about it and I can't answer and respond. Is there a way to get doorbell ring notifications on my Pixel?

Hey BlaserR,
My apologies for the late response here. The only time that you can get a notification on your Google Nest Hub and phone is when you're connected to the same network. You can always check the history on your Nest Doorbell since it has camera to check if there's anyone ring the doorbell. Let me know if I can assist with anything else, otherwise I’ll be locking this thread after 24 hours.

This is a huge opportunity as I can't find this feature in either Google or Amazon's ecosystem. My parents have a Nest cam pointing to their driveway and would like a visual and audible notification to one or more of their Nest Hubs when a person (not animal) is detected in the driveway.
Please please please add this feature!
