Can no longer broadcast to a single Google speaker

Late last year all of my Google home and Google minis suddenly stopped being able to broadcast to individual devices.  I give the command "Hey Google broadcast to (specific room)" and it now just says "I'm sorry I don't understand.  Instead of "What's the message".  Am I doing something wrong or is there a setting I need to change?  Please help because this feature is crucial with 2 kids in the house and different sleep schedules.

Try the same command but instead of the room name use the device name (ie bedroom speaker or whatever you named it) .. it should still work , just tried it on mine 🙂
