Can not connect to All Speakers

I can not connect to all of my speakers from the Home application

My speaker groups no longer connecting.

I speaker is player while the others are gonging. what did you guys do?

Hey MrJinx,

 

Thanks for reaching out. I know how challenging it is when you're having issues playing music on speaker group. 

 

Let's try there steps below:

 

  1. Move your Google Home/Nest device within 15-20 ft. away from the router to get enough signal from your network.
  2. Reboot your Google Home/Nest device and router by disconnecting them from the power source and leave them unplugged for 1 minute. Once done, plug them back one at a time with intervals.
  3. If it's still the same, and you have a dual-band router, try setting up your speaker or display on a different band to check if it will have the same behavior.

i've tried your suggestions and experienced the same issues. i believe up to four speakers can play without issue. when I try to play to five or more, the problems start.

i have a google Home speaker that will not add to a group. I have other Home speakers that add to a group with no problem. This speaker will not.

After the resetting the speaker several times, the speaker will not add to a group

Sorry to hear that you're having issues adding your Google Home device to the speaker group. A few questions: when did the issue start? Are you experiencing issues with your network lately? What message are you getting when adding the speaker in the group? Are you able to cast music to your Google Home device?

good morning,

the issue started 1/13. yes, I'm experiencing consistent issues with google devices on my network. they keep dropping or the sound stops and starts. 

i forgot the message. something like 'something went wrong'.  

I'm able to cast to speakers but continue to experience problems. the problems occur when I try to cast to multiple speakers esp if the number is greater than four. i have 19 speakers.  I've listed the speakers in a previous message. I'm on the latest firmware for all speakers.

the favorites screen shows all speaker playing. the cast screen does not show all the speakers that are playing.

When I add a speaker via the Cast screen, one of the playing speakers stops playing and loses connection.
