Can't cast explicit music

I can't cast songs classed as explicit from YouTube music to my Google Home or nest mini on the same network. I have checked settings for everything but there are no restrictions on YouTube or the speaker. This is a clone of a similar discussion here because the thread was closed with no actionable steps to fix this.

Hi Winstar,

This is not the experience we want you to have, let me help you. A few questions: when did your issue begin? Were there any recent changes made? How about other music services, is it giving off the same response?

It would help a lot if you could do a sequential reboot first: 

1. Unplug the power cord of your router, followed by your Nest speakers.
2. Plug them back in after 3 minutes.
3. Restarting your phone might also help.
