Whenever I try playing any source (have tried YouTube Music, Spotify, Disney+, Netflix) on any of my Google devices (Google Home, Nest Hub, Nest Hub Max, Chromecast with Google TV), the media immediately pauses when trying to play. This only happens when any of the Nest Hubs in the house streams one of our Nest Cameras or the Nest Hello. Once I end the stream on the Nest Hub, the media paused on the other device will immediately play as normal. It used to work perfectly for over a year while streaming cameras on another device. I’ve changed nothing that I know of. All devices connect via Nest WiFi.

Just for the record …. We’re having this problem and it has been persisting for a few weeks now. We like to stream a Nest Doorbell image on one device while having the radio playing on others but if you successfully play the radio and ask a separate device to stream the front door the radio pauses. Then if you ask the device streaming the front door to stop the radio starts playing on the other devices without doing or saying anything else.

Hi SusieQt, thanks for your message. I am sorry to hear that you are encountering this issue of your Google Nest Hub freezing and stopping media when you try to use your Nest Doorbell. It is a frustrating issue, and I definitely understand your concern.
As I told Barry Coll in the comment above, our team is aware of this issue and are still looking into it.
