Can't turn on any lights

Suddenly I can't manage any bulbs or groups via Google Assistant. I use Ikea Tradfri, and have tried to reestablish connectivity between the two apps, without any luck.

I can see and manage all bulbs vi Home app, but I can't ask Google to turn on the light in kitchen.

I have no problem asking Google to play music via Spotify, or asking any other questions.

Looks like the issue is on Google server side, or a bug in latest update.

Please help... It is not very smart when it is not smart 🤓

Hi Koborg,

 

This is not the experience we want you to have; let us help you. A few questions: which Nest speakers and smart lights are we working with?  When did your issue begin? Were there any recent changes made? 

 

It would help a lot if you could do a sequential reboot first: 

 

  1. Unplug the power cord from your router, followed by your Nest speakers, then your smart lights.
  2. Plug them back in after 3 minutes.
  3. Restarting your phone might also help.

 

If the issue persists, you can revert your Nest device to its original settings by doing a factory reset. Depending on the device that you have, click the link for the steps: Factory reset Google Nest or Home speakers or displays.
