I have multiple nest audios and multiple rooms and floors in the Home app but only devices in the Living Room answer responses with a chime. Is it possible to make this the default to simple commands like "turn off the basement lamp"? I see tons of articles about changing the output settings but I only see that setting for my phone in the home app.

Hi tkesterson20,
Google Nest speakers and displays will only respond with a chime when they are controlling devices that are set as being in the same room within the Google Home app.
Please leave feedback for the Google Nest team requesting that they make this an option to be chosen.

Hi everyone,
@Cathal_S, I appreciate your assistance.
@tkesterson20, thanks for reaching out and we appreciate your feedback. I'll pass along this feature request for an option to change the responses of the Google Home and Nest devices to a chime sound to our product team.
If you have other questions in mind, let me know; otherwise, I'll be locking this thread in the next 24 hours.
Cheers,
Lovely
