I have a Google nest hub, nest audio and nest camera. I am new to this and have found the set up process to be extraordinarily complex and fraught with issues. I made the fatal mistake of changing my Wi-Fi two days after the first installation. That sent the whole system into a spin. I found the only way to connect to the new Wi-Fi service was to reboot the nest hub and start over. I thought there must have been an easier way but in the end that’s the way it worked out. Then, both the speaker and the camera failed to connect to the hub. I had to convert both of those back to factory settings. I read somewhere this is the only way if you change Wi-Fi. That seems extraordinary to me. However, now I have a whole heap of connectivity issues. It seems like the speaker is a separate Google hub. It seems to have drawn the commands away from the actual nest hub. When I give a command the speaker answers me. If I silence the speaker by turning off the microphone I can play through the nest hub but I can’t then play through the speaker from the hub. All I wanted was an additional speaker that I could connect to my hub but it seems I now have two Google hubs in the house. I’m also now having difficulties getting the camera to stream properly. Maybe I’ve made some basic mistakes but I have found this to be extraordinarily difficult and I am quite computer literate.
