Contacts names

I want to set up the display so my kids can video call with relatives.  The display is under my account so it's using my contacts for the household contacts. However my kids of course call my relatives by different names than I do.  I.E. my mom and dad are their grandma and grandpa, I call my brother by his name they call him uncle. Is there a way that I can have  contacts listed under multiple names or do I just need to change all of my contacts so they match what the kids call them?

Hi ParasiticDuck,

Glad you reached out.

It's so nice to know that the kids are also fond of using the Google Nest display. Apparently, the names can only be changed from Google Contacts which any changes you made will reflect on the Google Nest display.

Though it would be a very clever thing if this would be available as an option, especially on situations like this. We always aim to provide a better experience to all of our valued customers and we’d like to take this opportunity to share your thoughts and suggestions on how we can improve your experience with us. Send us a feedback and let's hope it would be available in the future.
