Cracking noise

Hi my google home nest is making weird noises like cracking and popping noise when I listen to music. 

Bought the product in Google store, how can I return it?

That certainly hasn't been easy for you ― let’s check this out.

Before we check your replacement option, I would like to check some details. Is the crackling/popping noise only happening when playing music?  When did this start happening? Is it consistent with any music services?

Try the steps below:

1. Test the following to make sure the device reliably reproduces the speaker quality issue.

• Say “Okay Google,” then:
  • “What time is it?”
  • “What’s the weather?”
  • “Is it going to rain tomorrow?”

2. Reboot your Google Home/Nest device and router.

3. If the issue persists perform a factory reset. Click this link.
