Dec. 1, 2021 | Google Assitant code push broke YouTube Music Premium Smart Playlist integration

I have a full Google tech stack; Google Fi, Pixel  5, 4 Google Nest Minis, 3 Chromecasts, YouTube Music Premium.

Yesterday, 12/1/21, Google Assistant lost the ability to properly load and play all the YouTube Music "smartlists", i.e. My Supermix, My Mix 1, etc. Google Assistant pops up on the phone, and is clearly hearing me say "My Supermix" and "My Mix One", then Assistant says "Playing youtube music playlist Super Goggles", or some other random stranger's playlist, which may OR MAY NOT even have one of the words I just said in it's title.

Have been 1.5 hours on phone with Google tech today, first YouTube Premium, who bumped it to Home. Home support was supposed to call back on this ticket 1/2 hour ago, but no call so far.

Gave them extensive data on the issue, they are running me thru level 1 tech support list, and were about to have me reset all my hardware 😕

Clearly this is a Google Assistant issue. I can see where it popped up about 24 hours ago because the YouTube app shows your history, and all this rando music starts popping up for these smart playlist which have been working fine for over a year.

Very disappointed with this situation. These are all services and hardware I directly pay Google good money for. Please don't push bad code. I would rather everything kept working then have Google add random features that break existing CORE functionality.

I quite literally had a shouting match with my assistant over this. NO! I DON'T WANT TO LISTEN TO SOME RANDOM PERSONS "Supermusic Mix"; they have terrible taste...
