Default speaker issue

I've just bought a home hub 2nd gen. I have set the default speakers to my Sonos 1 speakers and streamed audio via 'hey google' redirects as expected to the Sonos speakers. However if I choose a track via Spotify on the hub screen it plays only on the hub's inbuilt speaker. If I ask for a Spotify track via 'ask google' it plays as expected on the Sonos speakers!

Is there a setting somewhere to change this so everything plays through my Sonos1 speakers please?
