During initial setup of Lenovo smart display it is not found. Bluetooth on phone and device is on.
Factory reset at the beginning as well.
Any ideas?

Have you considered using the Device Utility app from the Google Play Store to set up the device?

I tried the utility to app but nothing changed from before. It is plugged in but does not show charging. It is stuck on 50% battery level

Setting up a Lenovo Smart display is pretty much the same thing as Google Nest displays. However, if you have encountered any issues on setting it up, I would highly recommend contacting Lenovo support so that they can guide you and check what are the steps that you have missed. Also, there might be a Wi-Fi settings that needs to be checked so it is best to reach out to them.
