During Setup Receiving Error Code -9807 for Google Nest Mini

When attempting to set up the google nest mini, I made it to the "Set up Google Assistant" and each time I attempt to click next I get the error message "The operations couldn't be completed. (kGSJErrorDomain error -9807). Please assist with the best next steps. I have factory reset, as well as deleted the device from the app, deleted the app, and tried again with no luck.

That certainly hasn't been easy for you — let me help you out.

A quick question: are you using a private or public network?

Give these steps a try:

• Make sure your Google Nest Mini and phone are within 15 feet of your Wi-Fi router. 
• Reboot your Nest Mini and router to refresh the connection.
• Check router settings. (AP isolation must be disabled and UPnP must be enabled). 
• If you're using an iOS, turn on Local network access for the Google Home app. Here's how: Privacy > Local Network > Google Home app. 
• If you're using an Android phone, try clearing the cache and data of your Google Home app.
• Try to use a different phone in setting up your speaker.
