Every time I try to connect a streaming service, it says there is technical difficulties?

Every time I go to hook up Netflix or Disney plus to my Google Nest display, it says something went wrong please try again. I don’t know how to fix it and I would like for the streaming services to work on there! Thanks!

Thank you for reaching out. Oh no! That is not good to hear that you are unable to connect to a streaming service. I love streaming Spotify and Hulu to my Google Nest Hub so I understand your concern! I would be more than happy to help. First, I have some questions.

  • Which Google display device is this post in regard to? (model name, generation number)
  • Is this a new issue? Was your device streaming media before?
  • Is your casting device and Google display device on the same WiFi network?
  • Does your Google display device show up as 'connected' on the Google Home App?
  • Have you tried any troubleshooting steps? What you have you attempted so far?
