Gapless Playback

Gapless playback, a standard option on many other speaker systems, does not work on any Google Cast devices, including the Nest Audio which is marketed for music playback. Google Play Music had this functionality, so I know it is possible. Can your developers please reinstate this basic music listening feature?

I actually thought this was implemented or announced a few years back?? Bummer if that never happened.

I will escalate this over to the Community Team for some clarification as I am the least amount of audiophile.🎶

The Community team looked into this for me and let me know that this isn't yet supported just as you said.

 They suggested you submit a feedback report .

@JoeSmithereens, I totally understand that this is a good feature to use with your Nest Audio  but, this feature is not yet available. You may use the link provided in this thread to submit feedback as every bit of feedback helps a ton.
