Goggle nest mini is not working properly.

Hello everyone,

I bought and used goggle nest mini in Sri Lanka. But I recently moved Finland and I using nest mini few month with my mobile hotspot to control my apartment equipments. now I got new WiFi connection for my apartment and now goggle nest is not working well. Problems are when I give command sometimes It works and some times not responding. Anyone know what I have to do for this problem? Really appreciate replies.

I understand how frustrating it can be if your Nest Mini isn’t giving you consistent responses just like it did before moving. Don’t worry. Help’s here.

Do the lights on your Nest mini light up every time you say the words, “Hey Google”? What happens if it doesn’t come up with an answer? Does it just ignore it, or is the device powering off?

A first step to getting your Google Home back on track would be to make sure you’ve set it up correctly on your new network and check if the microphones aren’t blocked; the microphones of your Nest Mini are on top of the fabric cover. Please check if your device is getting consistent power as well; just make sure the power cord of your Nest Mini is securely plugged into the power outlet; you can try different outlets as well.

You can check if your microphone is not muted by toggling the switch on the back of your Nest Mini, verify if there aren’t any lights that indicate that the Nest Mini is muted, and ask it a question to check if the LEDs turn on every time you say “Hey Google.”
