Go to the Google Home app, find the device you want to delete, then press and hold. On the top you will see the settings icon ⚙️, press it and then below you will see "remove device" press it and your done.

I did exactly what you had suggested.I clicked on my settings only to have "Remove Device" no where to be located in the settings.Any more suggestions that i could try.

I'm seeing in the original post that you are talking about deleting the "TV device". If it's the tv it self, is it possible you added it as a "works with Google"? I have a Phillips tv that can be found in my home app but it's not a primary Google device. For these devices it will say "unlink", for my tv it's saying "Unlink Philips SAPHI Smart TV". If so press there, if not we will keep looking!!!

Hi folks,

@Meberhart, @petergroft, thanks for helping.

@McB1, I’m sorry for the trouble you’re experiencing with your TV being unable to be removed. It would help a lot if you could do a sequential reboot first:

  1. Unplug the power cord of your router followed by your Nest speakers.
  2. Plug them back in after 3 minutes tops.
  3. Restarting your phone might also help.
  4. Make sure that all your devices, including your TV and phone are on the same Wi-Fi network.
  5. Try to remove by going to your TV's settings on your Google Home app.

In addition, you can follow the steps below:

  • Open Google Home app.
  • Go to Settings.
  • Select Google Assistant.
  • Tap the option Manage all assistant settings.
  • Look for Devices and search for your TV.

Hope this helps.

Best,

Dan

Hey there,

Sure thing! But if you could, please avoid screenshots/pictures that have your private information for your security. Here's how:

  1. Start a new post or reply here.
  2. Click Insert Image.
  3. Choose an image source location.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions
  5. Also, you can tap the "Drag and Drop" option. Maximum attachment is 5 MB.

Looking forward to your response.

Regards,

Dan

I have attempted that on several prior attempts without any success.I have deleted the Google Home app then reinstalled it and i restarted my phone only for the same unsuccessful results to happen.
