Google Home Max connectivity issue

Hi I have two paired nest audios that work very well and one home mini that works very well but my Google Home Max works very well for a couple of days then does not have connection on Google Home app. I get a response on Play store saying to reboot but when it's not responsive on home app you cannot reboot you have to unplug it and plug it back in to cause a reboot. My other speakers don't behave like this so that's why I decided to post this in concern. Hope somebody can help.

I'm sorry for the trouble this may have caused you — let's see what's going on.


A few questions: are you using a public or private network? How frequently did this situation happen? Also, Is it still working using voice commands?


Give these steps a try: 


  • Make sure your devices are within 15-20 feet of your router.
  • Reboot your Google Home Max and router to refresh the connection.
  • Uninstall and reinstall your Google Home app.
  • Resetting your Home Max might help too.
