My home Max speakers have worked great for the past year or so, but now, all of a sudden the speakers are cutting out regularly. I have reset the speakers and my router but the issue remains. Anyone else having a similar issue?

Hey maxuser1978,
Thanks for posting, and apologize for the late response.
We're sorry about your Google Home Max. To confirm, do you mean disconnecting from the network, or it's just cutting out the sound when you're playing music? How far is the speaker from your router? Are you using a dual-band router? Do you have other speakers that work properly on the same network?
Below are the steps that may help us fix the issue:
Reboot your Google Nest device and router by disconnecting them from the power source and leave them unplugged for 1 minute. Once done, plug them back one at a time with intervals.
If you are using a dual-band router, please try to setup your device on another band. Make sure to reset the device before setting up on a new network.
If it still the same, setup up your device using a mobile hotspot. Please note that you will need two mobile devices for this setup (one will serve as a router and the other to be used to set up your Google Home Max).
Let us know how it goes.
Cheers,
Muddi
