Google Home Mini (1st gen) takes forever to connect to Wifi

I'm setting up my Google Home Mini (1st gen) in my room and it takes forever to connect to my Wifi. First I kept getting that "cannot discover Google Home on the network" message. Then I enabled/disabled all of the network's settings that I needed to enable/disable and now it takes forever to connect! Can anyone help me????

PS I'm using Grammarly to help me with my writing, of course!

Hmmm... Let's see the issues... 1 wordy sentence... 2 misuses of semicolons, quotation marks... 3 punctuation problems in compound/complex sentences... WHAT?!
