Google Home Mini is not working properly

My Google Home Mini is not working properly. Each time a command is given it responds "something went wrong, try again in a few seconds" or "there was a glitch". I tried resetting the device several times but no good happened. How can I resolve this issue?

I am also facing same issue since 4-5 days in-spit of factory reset. By any chance do you find solution?

Same problem here. The minis worked great for years, now they're unusable. Glitch. Lame.

I have similar problem, but also volume too low, low 5% and it's the same when at 100%

Problem fixed some hours later on home mini, another speaker Harman Citation one MKII was fixed later after reboot

Hey everyone,

 

Sorry for the late response here. I know how it feels when you're having issues with your Google Home Mini. Let's dig deeper into this. A few questions: when did the issue start? How far is your Home Mini from the router? Have you changed any settings on your router lately? Do you have other Google speakers or displays that are working on the same network? What country are you located in? What is the make and model of your router?

 

Let's try these steps below:

 

  1. Move your Home Mini within 15-20 ft. away from the router to get enough signal from your network.
  2. Reboot your speaker and router by disconnecting them from the power source and leave them unplugged for 1 minute. Once done, plug them back one at a time with intervals.
  3. If it is still the same, try setting up your device using a mobile hotspot. Please note that you will need two mobile devices for this setup (one will serve as a router and the other to be used to set up your Google Home Mini).

Hello All, My google home mini issue got resolved yesterday when I restarted the router. I'm not sure if this is relevant or not, but it's worth a try.
