Setting up an Google Home Mini that has been factory reset, but it keeps telling me that it can't authenticate the Mini

Thank you for your post. Oh no! I am sorry to hear that your set up process is not going smoothly. I understand your concern and would be more than happy to help find a solution. First, I have some quick questions to get a better understanding of this situation.

  • Could you try to set your device to a 2.4 GHz WiFi band? 
  • Have you tried clearing the Google Home App's cache?
  • Could you try to connect the device to a mobile hot spot? Does this issue still occur?
