My requirement is apparently simple but cannot get it to work. My default music player for google home is youtube music premium
My current command on google home routine works. But the issue is it plays all the songs in that playlist. My requirement is to play random song only once and then stop. How can i change it to do exactly that?
Play playlist myplaylist on speakergroup

Hello salmanakram,
Thanks for posting in the Community.
I appreciate all the details you've shared. Have you tried editing the routines you created? Also, have you considered changing the name of your playlist to a more unique one? Let's try that first and see if it would make any changes to its behavior.
Let me know how it goes.

All i am requesting is how to modify my routines to play only one random song and then stop. So not sure how to make that happen. Also can i also know if there is a way to stop all alarms and stop all music on all speakers before my routine starts?

Hey there,
Thanks for clarifying. I'm afraid that it won't be possible. It's either you modify it using one song or one playlist. I understand that it would be cool if there's an option to play random music every time the routine triggers, I would also love to have that. For now, we’d like to encourage you to send feedback about this and for any features that you’re looking forward to using with our Google Nest devices.
