Google Home Speaker: Connection Issue on a Provate Co-Working Office Space WIfi Network

I'm trying to setup a Google Home speaker in a private office I'm leasing in a Co-working office space. In order to connect to the wifi network, it takes you to a landing page where you enter your email address to verify that you have access. I downloaded the the Google Home app to set it up so I can play music and use other features but it can't connect. Is there a way to access Wifi on the speaker when the network has a landing page?

Hi CJohn,

Thanks for reaching out! I would be more than happy to help answer your question.

Unfortunately, a two step landing page WiFi network will not work with Google Home/Nest devices.

Google Home/Nest devices are designed to work on a secure personal WiFi network where you just enter a password, and not for public WiFi environments where the network is not fully controlled by the user.

Here is a link that lists Wi-Fi networks that are incompatible or aren’t recommended with the Google Home/Nest devices. Also, there is no way to go through the landing page on your Google Home App or the speaker device itself.

I apologize for the inconvenience caused. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.
