3 Google Home minis in the home. Multiple switches/outlets tied to SmartThings and TP-Link Kasa, both linked to Google.
If I tell Google to turn on a light, it works fine. If my wife tells Google to turn on a light, it says "Sorry, it looks like SmartThings is unavailable."....or some variation of that.
It will play music from Spotify for her. It will answer questions, or give her the weather forecast. It just won't operate any lights that we have. Again, it works for me every single time...even if I tell it to do something just after she told it to. It doesn't seem to be specific to SmartThings either, as TP-Link Kasa devices are doing the same thing.
Additionally, if she uses the Google Home app on her iPhone, it works as it should. The problem is only the Google Home mini devices.

Hi Sweeney,
Thanks for reaching out. I apologize for the inconvenience you're experiencing. We'll work together to identify the cause of the problem and find a solution. A few questions: when did it begin? Were there any recent changes made? Also, what troubleshooting steps have you taken so far?
Try to refresh your devices and observe if it makes a difference. First, reboot your Wi-Fi router, and once the network is back up, do the same thing to your Google Home Minis.
Regards,
Juni

I spent well over half an hour with Google Support on the phone trying pretty much everything and nothing works.

Hi there,
I understand. Could you provide the case number when you contacted our support team so we can further check for you?
Thanks,

Hi there,
Apologies for the late reply. Let’s try to remove and re-invite your wife as a member of your home, and then retrain her voice.
Best,
Alex

Hey Sweeney,
What did you find? Does removing and re-inviting your wife work?
Kind regards,
Alex
