Google Home was manufactured for a different Country

I've just bought this google home device to add to my existing network. When I try to configure it via my IPad I am unable to get it to connect to my wireless internet.

I have two other nest devices that are connected to the same network.

During the configuration I am shown a warning messaging indicating that the Home was manufactured for a different country.

Given I bought this device from an Australian retailer (catch) I'm a little upset that I can't get the device to connect.

Can anyone give me some advice ?

Since the Google Home is listed as supported in Australia (https://support.google.com/store/answer/2462844?hl=en), you might have to return your Google Home to your Australian retailer and ask for one that was manufactured for Australia.
