Norway here.
I’ve had this issue for a while. Possibly since August.
Fuchsia version: 7.20220419.2.166
Firmware version: 48.41.32.466204089

Same here. Also Norway.

Hi Muddi,
Colombia 🤠,
I have a question: every time the gray overlay rectangle comes out, I restart it, and it disappears, and after a while, it appears 🙄.

Last week on best buy in Las Vegas
11-02-2022 05:44 AM
@Muddi Any update on this? Should I contact the reseller and get a replacement?
11-02-2022 01:31 PM
If you change from picture frame to clock for screen saver, you can use the hub as normal.
11-02-2022 11:12 PM
Sure, but the product is faulty and by Norwegian consumer law you should get a replacement if they can’t fix it within reasonable time.

Something is wrong with my Google nest. Any idea how I could fix it? There is a huge gray square on my photo frame.

the gray box is conected to the clock on the home screen, when i disable the clock in the box disepears, or if you set your home screen to just clock and not any pictures or the frog the box disepears once more.
the problem must be somthing with the overlay of the clock with pictures or the frog behind it,
this makes sense becuse when you swipe to the right all the overlays on the home screen disepears and that means the clock disepears witch in turn means the gray box diepears sa well
hope any one can get this to the programing folks this bug has been bugging me for the past 2 months now and i dont know where to post a issue report

Hi,
I confirm, when clock feature is enabled it gives this overlay, when clock is disabled it works fine.
Still, the clock shoudl be avilable...

Hi Mathiaszk2000,
Have you tried the steps above? Let's try to reset your Nest Hub so we can see if there would be any changes after the reset. Doing so will revert it back to its default and original settings and tell me how it goes.
Thanks,
Dan

Hello. About 2 months ago, a strange problem occurred on my 2 Nest hub 1 gen. It is only when images are to be displayed, not when I use the screen for news, weather, etc.. A white mist forms on the screen. See attached picture. I have tried to factory reset and set up again several times but without success. Can anyone help me? Fuchisa version 8.20220713.2.219 Software version 49.57.36.477782712 I also have the 2nd gen of the Nest Hub but don't have that problem on it. Best regards

Hey toffen,
Thanks for sharing details about the issue here. My apologies for the delays.
I know the feeling when you're having issues on your Google Nest Hub screen. Let's get to the bottom of this. A few questions: what country are you located in? Have you tried resetting your device to see if it will have the same issue? Also, when and where did you purchase it?
Looking forward to your response.

Muddi

Hello, with the google nest hub max that I had initially, the factory restore did not work, the store where I bought it changed it for me. The funny thing is that when configuring it for the first time, everything was fine but I noticed that it had not been updated and after a while the same thing happened, I restored it again and if I downloaded the updates and it worked, so far everything is going well
