Google Hub Vertical Black lines

I know there is already posts on this problem bit I didn`t find any solutions for this problem. Is there any solution for the vertical lines problem. Thanks

Hi there! 

I understand you're seeing thin vertical black lines across most of the left side of your Nest Hub display. This can definitely be frustrating, and I apologize for the inconvenience.

Here's what I can recommend:

Reboot your Nest Hub: A simple restart can sometimes clear up glitches. Unplug the Nest Hub from the power source for a minute, then plug it back in and wait for it to reboot.

Check for software updates: An outdated software version might be causing the issue. Make sure your Nest Hub is running the latest software. You can usually check for updates in the device settings.

If a restart and software update don't fix the problem:

Unfortunately, vertical black lines often indicate a hardware issue with the display itself.

 To help with that, I have a few questions for you:

  • What are the troubleshooting steps you've already tried?
  • When did the behavior start?
  • Was the device dropped or knocked over?
  • Is the display still working?
  • Is the display's Assistant working?
  • Provide a picture of the display.
