I have been trying to play music from our google minis through the apple music and it keeps saying to link my account. We are on the same wifi network, I have restarted, downloaded, and even upgraded my music membership from individual to family in hopes that something would click and we can listen to music again at our home. Please help... ready to throw them away and invest in another company/product as I'm seeing multiple others writing about similar experiences.

That certainly hasn't been easy for you — let me help you.
When did it start happening? Make sure you set your default music provider in your Google Home app. Also, check if your apps are updated.

No that didn't help. It works on all the devices but one and that one still says that I need to link the accounts.

Thanks for letting us know. Have you tried resetting your Google Home Mini? If the issue persists, provide us the cast firmware version of your device.
