Google Mini not working

Hi,

Purchased Google Home Mini last month. It worked perfectly for 3 days, on 4th it got disconnected and when I am trying to add the device, it says "could not communicate with your Google home mini" however there is no issue with internet connection. Pls help!

Thank you for your message. I am sorry to hear that your Google Home Mini has suddenly disconnected from WiFi. I definitely understand your concern. First, I have some questions to get a better understanding of this situation.

  • Is your device showing up as connected in the Google Home App?
  • Are you seeing any error messages? On the device itself or the Google Home App?
    • What does the error message say?
  • What kind of WiFi do you have? (one router or WiFi points)
  • Could you try to do a quick reboot (unplug/plug) to your router? 
  • Have you tried connecting your device to a mobile hotspot instead? What happens?
  • What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?
