I’ve recently found that the ambient noise feature of Google which usually played for 12 hours now only plays for an hour. I’ve seen this issue raised in previous threads, we’re based in NZ and have no access to the Digital Well-being if that is the cause of the change to an hour. I can see the hour (59 mins or so) in the Google Home app, not sure how to fix. I’ve tried it on multiple Google Mini/Nest speakers and finding the same issue.

Hi Josh,

Try below troubleshooting steps:
  1. Make sure your music provider accounts are linked to your speaker or display.
  2. If you're not getting the music you expect, be more specific with your request.
    1. Add “...by <Artist>” to your request. (Example: "Hey Google, play a song by Sia.")
    2. Add "... album, playlists, song" to your request. (Example: “Hey Google, play my morning rock playlist.”)
  3. If you want to listen to music that's not from your default service, add “on <music service>” to your request.
