Hi All,

Does anyone know the rough area of audible coverage for a Google Nest Audio Speaker?

Appreciate any insight.

TIA

I've not seen an exact, nor even average estimate for this. In general, I would say Nest Audio is loud enough to fill an average-sized living room with sound. That said, it isn't meant to fill larger or more open spaces, and as you turn up the volume, there's more compression in the mix, so that's worth bearing in mind.

Hi David,

Thanks for your insight into this, much appreciated. Agreed compression is an issue, I'm leaning towards over estimating the number of speakers required to hopefully have a more rounded sound.

Hi everyone,

Thanks for visiting the Community.

@JSummerton , could you please tell us how many Google Nest speakers are set up and connected to your network? How far are the speakers from the router?

Let's make sure to place each speakers within a good range from the router. Also, it would be best to reboot your router simply by unplugging it from the power source for at least a few minutes. Rebooting would help eliminate network congestion and also help refresh the network settings.

By the way, thanks for helping out, @David_K.

Looking forward to your response.

Best,
Princess
