Google Nest Hub 1st Gen difficulty setting up on Google Home Error
ERROR MESSAGE: The operation couldn't be completed. (kGSKErrorDomain error -83902.)

I have Google Home already setup with multiple devices active. When trying to connect to the Google Nest Hub 1st Gen, I get through setup and it connects to wifi but I am unable to complete the final stage of connection as it keeps throwing up the 83902 Error.

IOS, Based in Australia, I have tried resetting router, resetting the Google Nest Hub, read through other tips and still unsuccessful.

Is the product no longer supported?

An update: after a bit of research I have downloaded the emulator from Android Studio onto my MAC.

  • Launched the emulator that basically looks like an Android phone on my MAC.
  • Went to the Google Play Store.
  • Downloaded and signed into Google Home.
  • Added the Google Nest Hub 1st Gen SUCCESSFULLY.
  • NO kGSKErrorDomain error.

I then went back onto my iphone and relaunched the Google Home app and BINGO.

The Google Nest Hub is alive and kicking.
It's a bit of messing around but happy to report it's all working well.
