Google Nest Hub 2nd Gen doesn't shows video from Arlo door bell

My Google Nest Hub 2nd Gen doesn't shows video when my Arlo door bell is ringing. I have added the Arlo door bell as a device in Google home. The Nest Hub does have audio saying "someone at the doorbell", but no video. I tried with an Alexa device from friend and it works fine.

I have already tried removing and adding Arlo door bell to Google home few times.

I have also tried reducing the video resolution for the Arlo door bell cam, and it had not helped.

Have raised an issue with Arlo support, they said all ok from their end and suggested to contact Google support.

Any quick help will be much appreciated.

Thanks & Regards

Vinish

Hello Vini875,

Thanks for visiting the Community.

I understand how helpful it is to have the Google Nest Hub automatically stream a video when the doorbell rings. However, it's important to note that this feature is exclusive to Nest doorbells. Third-party cameras such as Arlo can only use the visitor announcement feature. Nevertheless, there is an alternative solution. You can simply ask your Nest display to stream your Arlo camera by saying, "Okay Google, show me [doorbell name]." This should bring up a live video feed of your Arlo camera on your Nest display. Have a look at this guide: Stream your security camera using your Google Nest display

Thanks a lot for your inputs.

That's a good workaround for now. But please take this as feedback to improve. As I see  3rd party devices seamlessly stream with Alexa.
