My Hub pauses YouTube music about every 20 minutes and the screen will have a message asking if I want to resume, but that disappears after a few minutes. I know it's not the gesturing issue because I have that turned off already, and it happens when I'm not front of the screen; the screen faces an inactive part of the room.
Also, YouTube on my Galaxy 10+ phone pauses when I press any other button on the phone. i.e. turn off the screen, minimize the app, etc. It also stops playing on my HUB when I swipe right on the screen to see the home screen.
So, are these actually YouTube issues, vs Google issues? I don't think it was doing these things when I had a paid subscription, so is YouTube just not a free solution?
Thanks for any insights!

Hi jeniferm49,
Thanks for posting and I’m sorry if this has caused a little bit of an inconvenience on your part. To sum it up, Google relies on the functions and features from the 3rd party devices and services it is linked to. Also, I believe when you mentioned that your Nest Hub stops playing when you swipe right is working as intended. You can continue by swiping left and tapping the audio or video.
I suggest you try reaching out to YouTube for more information and tell me how it goes.
Here are additional details:
Hope this helps.
Best,
Dan
