Google Nest Hub won’t load photo albums

Hi,

I recently got a neat hub, and the only

photo option bailable is “recent highlights”. I have many albums in google photos which are visible on my phone and computer, but there is no option for me to add albums on the hub. I have the hub connected to google home and there is no option there either. How do I access albums?

Hi Lbateman,

Thanks for reaching out.

If you're using the same account linked on your Google Nest Hub and Google Photos, you should be able to see these settings:

  1. Open the Google Home app .
  2. Touch and hold your device's tile.
  3. At the top right, tap Settings and then Photo Frame.

Each Live Album you create has a limit of 20,000 photos. To expand beyond that, create a new Live Album and enable it in the Photo frame settings. Your Nest display should show photos from all enabled albums.

  1. Open the Google Photos app .
  2. Tap Library and then New album .
  3. To name your new album, tap Add a title.
  4. Tap Select people & pets and then tap the ones you want to include and then Confirm.
  5. Open the Google Home app .
  6. Touch and hold your device's tile.
  7. At the top right, tap Settings and then Photo Frame and then Google Photos.
  8. To enable your new album for Photo frame, tap your new album.

Let me know if this works for you.

Best,

Princess
