@melissahartman

According to the Google Store, the Nest Hub Max uses a 30W power adapter. What's the rating for the 3rd-party cord you've been using? Perhaps that 3rd-party cord has damaged your Nest Hub Max.

(It certainly doesn't help that Google Nest does NOT sell any spare parts.)

thank you for your reply now i took a picture of will share it..

let me ask you its been working all this time and now the hub has no power so if i was to get a new cord for the hub max would it work again?

i have put pictures of the hub with no power, the power source ect can you tell me if that is why it's not working? what can i do to fix it?

@melissahartman

I'm just another Google Nest customer and am not an expert. But if you switched to a third-party power cord and your Nest Hub Max is no longer powering up, ONE possibility is some sort of an issue with your third-party power cord.

I don't know if your Nest Hub Max would work again if you were able to replace the original power cord, but unfortunately Google Nest does not sell them.

Maybe another customer who has been able to obtain a third-party replacement power cord will see this post and comment.

Hi everyone,

Thanks for the help, @MplsCustomer.

@melissahartman, thanks for reaching out and for the details you've shared. I wish there’s something I could do about this but due to the nature of your concern, your Google Nest Hub Max  is not going to be covered by the warranty. Check out this link for more information about it.

Regards,
Alex
