Google Nest Max Hub failure after factory reset

Need assistance in deciding to discard my Google Nest Hub Max 2nd after factory reset option resulted in black screen or the infamous “G” after a restart. Purchased 11/2022.

Thanks for posting here in the community. I'm sorry to hear your Nest Hub Max is experiencing a black screen and is stuck on the "G" logo. Help's here!

 

Try the steps here:

 

  • Unplug the power cord.
  • Hold down the volume buttons and plug in the power cord at the same time.
  • Wait for the device to turn on.
  • Release the volume buttons.
