I have the Google Nest Mini 2 gen and have had dropouts issues and difficulty reconnecting after reset - but no more.
What I did was enable QoS on my Asus rt-ac66u b1 router and use adaptiv mode. QoS priority is Internet first, streaming second and then the rest.....
My phone is on 5ghz and the Google Mini Nest 2 is setup on 2.4ghz and they are connecting to each other very fast and with no dropouts while playing - so far that is, don't wanna jinx this ;))
