Hi,
I have a Google Nest Mini, which has been constantly crashing/freezing for over a month. It's a useless device right now since I can't even connect to it anymore. I have factor reset a few times and yet it didn't come back to life. Is there anything doable or should I just bin it?

Hi Princess,
Thanks for your message.
As per my post, I did all the steps many times and yet it didn't come back to life. It works for a few minutes, sometimes hours, and then becomes unresponsive again...

Hey danlzr,
Chiming in, would you mind sharing a video showing the issue on your device. Also, what is the current firmware version of your speaker?
Looking forward to your response.
Cheers,
Muddi

Hi Muddi.
There's no point in filming a device that looks like is off. No lights, no sound, no response to voice or touch. Looks like dead/off.
Eventually I unplug and plug it back after a few minutes and it comes back to life for a few minutes, maybe an hour, and them it's dead again.

Firmware is 299498

I got it from Spotify as part of a subscription deal, possibly about 2 years ago.

Thanks Princess.
It seems to be a quite common issue with Nests. I've googled it and found a number of people complaining about the same thing. Unfortunately I'll have to bin it and stick with my Alexas.

After reading so many complains about Nest Minis becoming unresponsive I have zero intention to buy another Nest whatever/Google device. It seems to be a known issue, which Google ignore. Google shouldn't be sorry, but replace faulty devices.
