Google Nest Mini with Sonos Speakers

Have switched from Alexa to Google Assistant (started with a Nest Mini).

Have updated all required settings within Google Home as well as Sonos.  Everything appears linked properly.  YouTube Music is setup and linked as the default music player.

Two things I CAN Do:

1.  Use Voice to play individual songs on the Nest Mini or any of my Sonos Speakers.

2. Use Voice to play YT Music Playlists directly on the Next Mini.

What I CAN'T Do:

Use Voice to play YT Music Playlists to any of the Sonos speakers ("Hey Google, Shuffle Playlist XYZ on Living Room").  It either just doesn't work or most often the assistant tells me it can't do that on that device (any of the Sonos Speakers).

Does not seem to be a problem with the linking of YT Music (given I can successfully perform #1 and #2 above).   I've tried unlinking and re-adding Sonos already.  Don't think I have any speaker name conflicts or anything.

I first got the message that I couldn't do it until I turned on Personal Results.  Update that and no longer get that error message.  Now it just tells me it can't play the playlists on that device (the Sonos speakers).

Is there some sort of setting in either Google Home or Sonos that potentially needs to be set to "sharing" of something?  I don't see anything like that -- but I'm out of ideas of what the problem might be -- after trying a mulitude of things for several hours.

Appreciate any help or potential solution.

Thanks!

Hi huskershuf,

Thanks for reaching out! I appreciate you taking the time to troubleshoot! Let's get this issue resolved.

It appears that the issue is with the Sonos speaker and the voice commands/Google Assistant. As you are asking a Google Assistant related question, I recommend you posting your question to the Google Assistant Help Community Forums. A specialist there should be able to look into this issue and help you.

Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns, thanks.
